Project Overview

Snola Snoballs, a New Orleans icon famous for its gourmet cheesecake-stuffed snoballs, partnered with Spade Design to build a digital platform that could match its real-world popularity. The project focused on capturing the amazing story of founder Kerry Crossley, honoring the brand’s deep NOLA roots, and—most critically—engineering a system to streamline their overwhelming number of catering requests.

The Challenges & Constraints

Kerry Crossley’s story is a New Orleans dream. He took a beloved local tradition, the snoball, and elevated it into a gourmet dessert by stuffing it with cheesecake—an invention that became a sensation, with lines often wrapped around the block. But this incredible popularity created a major operational bottleneck. The demand for catering and private events was huge, but the process for managing inquiries and RFPs was inefficient, hindering their ability to scale and capitalize on their success.

The Solution

Spade Design developed a comprehensive digital strategy to turn Snola’s operational challenges into a growth engine. We dove into their amazing story, crafting a brand voice and website copy that honors both the tradition of the New Orleans snoball and the gourmet innovation of their signature creations. The centerpiece of the new website was a robust and streamlined catering system, designed to efficiently manage the high volume of inquiries and simplify the RFP process for both the clients and the Snola team.
